Dear EMS customers,
As we enter the Holiday Season, we want to bring you up to date on our continued efforts to keep our customers safe in our stores and also share some exciting news regarding Black Friday deals both in-store and online.
In our continued effort to make shopping at Eastern Mountain Sports convenient and safe for everyone involved, we are excited to announce that our Black Friday Sale will commence on October 16th this year and continue through the holidays. We are doing this in an effort to make holiday shopping more convenient while allowing ample access to all our great deals in-store or online at EMS.com. More importantly, we are doing this in an effort to keep our customers and staff safe and healthy this Holiday Season. Our hope is that by expanding our Black Friday Deals timeframe, we will eliminate large crowds on Black Friday and the weeks that follow.
We will also be expanding our Return Policy during this Holiday Season and extending the return period through January 6th, 2021 for the convenience of our customers. As always, please hold on to your Proof of Purchase for return eligibility!
As we approach the fall and winter seasons here in the Northeast, we will continue following local health guidelines in all our store locations. Our united goal is to keep our stores open and accessible to our valued customers, and we appreciate everyone who has shopped in our stores and abided by our posted rules. In order to protect both our customers and our employees, we will continue to do the following:
Social Distancing: Social distance markers on floors, plexi-shield installed at checkouts, reduced store capacities, 100% contactless payment.
Enhanced Cleaning Measures: Quarantine period for all returned merchandise, fitting rooms are temporarily closed, stocking all of our stores with additional cleaning and sanitizing supplies, more frequent cleaning of heavily trafficked areas and hard surfaces including entrances, customer service and checkout areas, restrooms and staff break rooms.
Wellness Checks: 100% enforcement of associate mask use, associate temperature checks, asking employees to stay home if they or anyone in their household feels unwell.
